The opportunity
The Great British Food Programme has teamed up with Regroup China, a digital marketing agency which specialises in Chinese cross-border eCommerce, and Elanders, an award-winning logistics company with expertise in getting your products safely into China, to create a simple and convenient international food and drink sales solution – The Great British Food Store.
This one-stop solution removes many of the risks and frustrations of exporting food and drink produce to China by eliminating setup costs and managing the market-entry processes. Simply put – it’s about getting your products safely in to the Chinese market practically free of charge!
On the day
At this 1 hour webinar any concerns about selling to China will be quashed. Every part of the sales and export process is covered with the expertise of a highly qualified team who’ll be able to guide your company through each step of the journey.
First up, you’ll hear from James Monk, Business West Commercial Director, who will provide a brief overview of the opportunity and explain how you can get involved; followed by Antoaneta Becker, of the China British Business Council (CBBC), who’ll provide an introduction to the Chinese market and the inside track on the in-demand food and drink categories in the region.
The webinar will then put the spotlight on the companies that will be working hard to make sure your products are a success in the market.
ReGroup China will cover everything you need to know about the WeChat platform, whilst running through how they will market your products direct to Chinese consumers in order to help drive sales.
Elanders will then cover the documentation, consolidation and logistics aspects of getting your goods to market, before Intellectual Property specialists, NJ Akers, will provide advice on IP and other legalities that you may encounter when launching a product in the Chinese Market. Clarifying what your business needs to do to avoid any copyright, patent or trademark issues with your products and branding.
Finally, Paul Abley from Business West, who heads up the Great British Food Programme, will close the webinar by walking you through the registration process and fielding any questions that you may have about this exciting opportunity.
