Chinese culture on show at Bristol Primary School

Youngsters at a Bristol primary school enjoyed a brief overview of Chinese culture courtesy of students Manman Ye and Xuejing Geng.

Our director of culture Tony Prescott accompanied the pair, who have now graduated with Masters degrees, on a visit to a Year 6 class at Cabot Primary School in St. Paul’s.

They taught the children how to use chopsticks and count to ten in Mandarin, as well as performing some kung fu and paper folding.

Tony is now looking for Chinese volunteers to join him on the next planned school visit.
