Tony Precott

Tony Prescott was Director of Community and Culture of the Bristol & West of England China Bureau and previously the Bristol China Partnership since its inception 22 years ago. He worked unstintingly to promote relations between our two countries, across community groups and had many followers and friends in both countries through his collaboration with many groups and organisations.

We are very sad to learn of Tony Prescott’s death on Friday July 7 2023 at the age of 91. He spent his last few days in a nursing home in Bishopsworth but was living at home before that cared by his wife Helen.
 
His funeral service is at South Bristol Crematorium at 11:15am on July 24 2023 for those wishing to attend.
