BIC to launch International Foundation Programme Online
There is no doubt that the current landscape is proving challenging for everyone in the education sector.
Unfortunately, the current situation with Covid-19 makes it impossible to guarantee a 100% healthy and safe environment for the international student community.
Therefore, BIC - in consultation with the University of London - have decided to postpone the physical opening of the College until August 2021 but to offer the International Foundation Programme online starting in August 2020.
The "Online IFP" has the full support and backing of the University of London which will ensure the high standards and quality of education that you would expect while allowing students to study in the comfort and safety of their own homes. In this way, students will still be provided with the 1-year high school level pathway that will take them to the UK or international university of their choice with an education that is not compromised or diluted in any way.
CEO John Milne said they remain resolved and dedicated to opening the physical buildings of Bristol International College in August 2021, once the situation has stabilised, but for those students who would like to start their university studies in Autumn 2021 the Online IFP is the ideal solution for bridging that gap and not wasting a whole year!
