Bristol Ensemble At Home - Online chamber recitals and talks

The Bristol Ensemble have been giving talks and recitals online while the lockdown in place. The series continues this afternoon at 3pm, with a recital given by the pianist Emil Duncumb. Dr Jonathan James discovers how Copland expresses so much with so little in his award-winning ballet score, Appalachian Spring. This charming work has been a perennial favourite for the Bristol Ensemble, and is full of the colours and poetry of spring.
